Announcement: 1st Global Peter Drucker Forum in Wien

The Peter Drucker Society of Austria in partnership with the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), the Federation of Austrian Industries (IV), Emerald Group Publishing, the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), Wirtschatfsforum der Führungskräfte (WdF), European Academy for Business in Society (EABIS) and Bridge2Think proudly announces the 1st Global Peter Drucker Forum Vienna “Reaching out – Coming Home” to be held in Vienna, Peter F. Drucker’s city of birth, on November 19 and 20, 2009 under the patronage of the Mayor of Vienna.

Doris Drucker, the widow of Peter Drucker will be the guest of honour.

The conference will focus on the European roots of Peter Drucker’s thinking, the relevance of his legacy for today’s and tomorrow’s world and finally will be the launch-pad for a major broad-based European dialogue on the future of management.
